Wow it’s been a long time since I’ve been here but truth be told my career and dating life has been taking a lot of my time in the past few months. I’m having a ton of fun and loving life right now. Recently I came back from Las Vegas for a trade show and had a blast.

Alright back to business – I want to talk to all the guys on Match and POF who are getting responses to winks and emails but are blowing the transition in getting her phone number.

So what is today’s lesson?

DON’T ask for her number right away! You will creep her out or she simply won’t respond to your 2nd follow up message. Remember she responded to your wink or email because she thinks you’re cute and you seem like a fun guy.

She responded with a ‘Hello’ – so your job is to charm her and basically exchange 3 to 4 emails each on basic info about each other (likes, dislikes, commonalities etc). If your second message is: “Hey what is your number?” you will come off needy/clingy and you’ll scare her away.

I always look for commonalities in her profile and will write something back and ask a couple of questions about her pictures, hobbies…whatever…you get the point.

I’ve always used this simple method with huge success but today was the 1st time a cutie on Match.com said “you’ve passed the weirdo test I can’t wait to talk to you”.

I think I see some panties dropping soon!!

I hope you will find today’s post useful so remember in your first 3-4 emails ask her some fun questions about her profile pics, her favorite vacation spots or hobbies to establish some commonalities. After she’s feels comfortable with you then ask for her number.

Now can you honestly make the excuse that you need money in order to get dates? Even if you come across a hot, smoking certified 10 and she expects or even demands that all her dates buy dinner at the most expensive restaurants and demands $$$ gifts. You must ask yourself do you really want her as girlfriend?

The answer should be – NO! Do the right thing and just walk away.

Read the article again if you have to and look for inexpensive even free venues for dates. Hey I’ve been there and had to do the same.

Hi guys hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving this week. It’s easy to lose site of all the things we have in life and focus too much on what we don’t have. First step in a positive mindset is to focus on what you have a re-script it in a positive light.

Now I want to talk about something I see more and more on Match.com and POF. It’s when you decide to send an email to that lucky gal and you write something bland and boring like:

Subject: “Hi”

Body: “From your profile you seem like a positive, genuine, down to earth girl. I’d like to get to know you a little more – you just seem more than what you put on your profile. Looking forward to chatting with you…”

Okay the first thing wrong is the subject line – “Hi” or “What’s Sup” simply doesn’t work. Remember one thing these women are getting bombarded with emails and the first thing they see is the subject line.

You need to set yourself apart right away and that means putting some thought into that email.

Why am I saying this? I see more and more profiles from women that are requesting potential guys not to say “Hi”, “Sup” or “How’s it going”

I have read it right there at the end of their profiles – they are begging men not to do that and be a little more original. Okay so how do you overcome this? Read her profile and point something out and use it in the subject line – I use that tactic all the time and it works. It shows them you read their profile.

Yep – we are going to talk about those douche bags that try to get a laugh at your expense especially in front of women. You must shut that down ASAP and make him look like a fool so those women don’t take him seriously. I repeat – YOU MUST SHUT HIM DOWN AND GET THE LAST WORD!

Yesterday while at work I overheard two of the girls talking about the weekend and one asked the other, “Oh so how did your date go with Robert?”

Of course I had to eavesdrop on the conversation and the co-worker answered – “Oh he was handsome and has it all together BUT there was….I don’t know”

Okay at this point I’m like alright well what happened? She answered that basically it was a dull date and he didn’t really attract her.

Right then and there I drew on the conclusion that Robert failed to really spark any attraction and on top of all that probably didn’t talk or escalate the conversation into a more sexual tone. Instead he probably talked about boring crap and my co-worker had probably ZERO interest.

This whole topic of not being afraid to escalate the conversation sexually after establishing attraction is so crucial if you want to get anywhere.

Sup Fellas!! I wanted to write a post on Happy Hour and what it could mean for your social and dating life. According to a 2010 survey the top 5 cities for singles are:

1. New Orleans
2. Miami
3. Austin
4. New York
5. Las Vegas

In each one of these cities is 5:00pm somewhere and usually that means Happy Hour is alive and well with a ton of single men and women looking to unwind from a long day at work and enjoy the evening.

This is your opportunity to go out and meet women! All you need is one wing man, buddy, compadre, to hang with and make it fun (hell you can go by yourself). Best thing is you don’t have to spend a ton of money since drinks and food are usually discounted.

Yesterday I was talking about practicing your pick up game. Happy Hour is the perfect outlet and you can meet some quality women in these social settings.

Get out of your head, “you can’t meet a quality woman in a bar”. That is bullshit and makes no sense. Quality women can be found anywhere but are you willing to go the mile and seek them out?
