How long has it been since you bought your first dating ebook and still haven’t used what you learned?

Yep I’m talking about the majority of these guys that will buy nearly every dating ebook they can and never put it to practice. They just dabble and do nothing with the information – WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

What’s the point? Why waste the money if you are reading all this information and not using it to pick up women? You can only read so many books, stop trying to get all the information you think you need to make the perfect introduction. Trust me when I say you are wasting your time.

Trying to amass enough information to say the perfect opener is actually counter productive. You are wasting time thinking and not doing. I was that idiot who did this for the longest time and I can’t believe how much time I let go by me.

The final decision comes down to you. You must go out and improve your social skills, if not nothing will change. Sitting at home playing Everquest for hours will not help your goal.

For many of you reading this going out may be a big deal – perhaps you didn’t develop those social skills in high school or never had them as a kid. Well here is your chance to change all that. Sure it’s going to take some work but what did you expect? There is no dating course that has the magic pill – sorry fellas that doesn’t exist.

Let me repeat – There is no magic pill in the world of dating. Not every approach will go well, now every girl will like you. All you can do is not allow the rejection to crush you. Always adopt the mind set you are the coolest guy in the bar/club and that women want to meet you.

Well it’s been a sad week with the passing of two of America’s icons. Farrah Fawcett and the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I remember being a little kid and saying “Whoa” the first time I laid eyes on Farrah and that red bathing suit.

I also remember the changing face of Michael Jackson – literally. I also remember his eventual downward spiral at least in the public eye. It doesn’t matter if you liked his music or not Michael Jackson was a true music genius.

Even though MJ was gifted and loaded with millions – I doubt the man was happy. I mean he was too out there to be considered eccentric and it doesn’t help that in his later years he contributed to his deteriorating public image with those infamous interviews.

It just goes to show that event though he was on top of the world he was alone. That sucks and I feel bad for the guy I really do. Sure he was loved by millions and the world is saddened but those people didn’t know him. Love and to idolize someone are two different things.

The next time you think that it takes money, good looks, power to attract women – just think for a moment and take a look at celebrities. They are more fragile than you think.

Just remember that money can’t buy happiness. Money is nothing more than a means to an end – that’s it!

If you feel that you must make loads of $$$$ to attract women – let it go! You couldn’t be more wrong.

This is the new mantra from Carlos Xuma and I must agree! Pick up lines and gimmicks don’t work - there is no magic pill! Sorry guys I know we live in the age of instant gratification but with changing your life there is no short cuts.

I’m going to keep this very short today to help you guys break away from the nice guy routine. You see it all the time – jerks getting laid and women just can’t get enough of them. Allow me to let you in a little secret – jerks have no game. It’s all one big glass house and trust me when I say there is nothing to admire from a jerk.

Stop wasting time with new pick up tricks that don’t work. I mean seriously how many new openers are out there? How about magic tricks – who the fuck cares if you can hide a coin behind her ear?

Has the PUA community come to magic tricks now?

Makes me sick to see so much bad information is out there. What makes it worse is you have a few guys that are savvy in marketing coming out with there own “dating course” even though they have no real experience. Stay away from these products – they just ripped them off from someone else.

So you want to know what natural game is? What to know how to drop the nice guy routine and become that alpha man? Then I have to go with Alpha Masculinity by Carlos Xuma.

We hear so much talk about “being yourself” around women and never act fake. I agree you should never put up a charade but I DISAGREE with the whole “just be yourself” statement.

Talk to any woman and they will all tell a guy just be yourself but they are lying. Truth is that for many of us guys following that approach could be disaster. Many of you may not have much experience with women. Do you think a woman will want to be with a total socially inept nerd that loves playing video games on Friday nights?

Of course not! Women want a man that can light that fire and you need to have certain skills that can do just that. Being yourself is not enough in the dating world.

I’m not talking about acting like some Casanova to get the ladies and lying to women – that’s lame and it will come back to you. Ever heard of karma?

All I am saying is to improve your social / communication skills and develop your personality. There is noting more liberating than becoming a new person and improving your life.

Being yourself is only good advice when you have transformed your personality into one that women will be attracted to. I used to laugh when in high school and college I hear women say – I love guys that are themselves. What made it even more funny – is that I fell for it hook line and sinker.

Lets face the facts romance is a female’s fantasy world where they want to be swept off their feet. You have to be able to do just that. If not you will be nothing more than a “friend” and you will be locked away in that category. I should know – I for a long time was that fool who followed that lame advice.

Having fun while flirting with women and doing something unexpected. I’m a big proponent in setting yourself apart from the rest so you stand out. The more I go out I see dudes just standing around in a power circle with their shirts off pumping their fists in the air.

You know what else I see? Absolutely no women around them.

I think a great way to break the ice is to declare thumb war with a girl you are talking to. Think for a moment here – it can be over whatever bet you are making maybe it about the latest gossip on TMZ or whatever. If she balks at the truth declare thumb war.

Here you can escalate the kino while making it fun at the same time. Believe me she will remember that over the next idiot using a lame one liner.

Okay guys word of warning here about using templates when emailing women on any dating site – don’t do it.

I seriously screwed up this week while checking out some Match profiles and decided to email some cute women I found. I decided to write a quick email to the lucky ten I found. Seems pretty easy right?

I read one of the profiles and this girl mentioned she was from NYC. Well I am also from the Big Apple and naturally I commented on that and included a short blurb in the template. Mistake #1

Off the email goes and now I move on to the second profile and include a P.S. about her love of art. Seems like I’m reading about her and being sincere right?

WRONG!

I forgot to remove the NYC blurb from the first profile I read and now she is going to be confused reading my email. Now I look like a complete douchebag, will these women respond to my emails? Probably not.

What makes this so bad is that I did this to three of the ten profiles I checked out. What a disaster!!

Learn from my mistake don’t do this!!!!! Take the time to read the profile and use something they mentioned from their profile to include in the subject and especially the body of your email. Put a twist on it to make it flirty and fun.

I went against this golden rule just because I was in a hurry. I just shook my head in disbelief when I realized my error.

Rules for emailing women you find on dating sites:

1. Don’t use a template
2. Read the profile
3. Comment on their profile in your email
4. Make it flirty and fun
5. The subject line must stand out – (refer to rule 3 or 4)
6. Rinse and repeat with next profile

Side Bar: Never ever write “Hiya Sexy”, “You look hot”, “Wanna get freaky” or “Hey Babe” in your subject line. You will only look stupid.

Final Thought: Am I saying that you should never ever use templates – No. However use with caution and whatever you do read the damn profile. Use her profile to flirt with her and make it fun when you email her.

A template is good for ideas but when it comes right down to it, tailor it to each profile individually.

It’s a simple question – are you suffering from the male fantasy? What I mean is do you sit or stand passively in the hopes that a woman will for some reason find you cute and just approach you and start talking?

Sorry but unless you are a well know actor or sports celebrity this will never happen to you. Let me repeat that never – ever.

It doesn’t matter why, social rules, gender roles – whatever it may it’s up to us guys to make the first move.

Just accept that simple fact and move on and whatever you do don’t blame women or society.

It may sound ridiculous but this weekend when you are out there in the bar, check out the scene. Just look at how many dudes are standing there talking big and yet it’s with each other! You will notice a lot of guys not approaching women.

Good grief!

I used to suffer from this stupid fantasy myself. I thought that by wearing pheromone cologne and wearing nice cloths would have women mysteriously walking up to me. I’m not exaggerating – I actually did this.

If you find yourself performing behaviors when your out to ‘get noticed’ by women in the hopes they will walk up to you – STOP! Get away from that beta male frame of mind and just approach.

After my last post I was thinking about what I wrote in regard to my successful pick up last week at my local restaurant that was hosting their weekly Wednesday night “wine night”.

I didn’t explain “what” my conversations were I had with this girl I was talking to. A lot of guys run into the brick wall of not knowing what to talk about with women. Sparking the interest and grabbing her attention.

The 4 rules when starting a conversation with women:

1. Have several stories handy that you can roll off your tongue at a moments notice. I draw my own experiences in life from my travels, my college days or just plain stories I have from hanging with my friends. TIP: Have a number of stories and always use humor to tell story. Make it funny and make her laugh.
2. Be current on pop culture – women love gossip to logon to TMZ.com and just read through the celebrity gossip bullshit and you have a conversation right there.
3. Cold Reading this can be done very easily by saying something like “You don’t seem like every other girl here which is a relief, I can’t stand phony people”. Cold reading doesn’t have to be complicated. For the record I’m no fan of magic tricks or palm reading. I think cold reads work far better.
4. Lifeline – your lifeline is to be used when you feel you are running out topics. So look to your surroundings and look things to talk about. Perhaps you are see one guy being a total drunk ass and making a jerk out of himself. There’s your new conversation starter!

The most important thing is to focus on your conversations is emotions! Remember women are just more emotional than men so discussing politics and Star Wars are just plain bad.

I hope you all had the chance to watch the video from last week and see the proof that you can message 30 women in less than 10 minutes using the Matchbook Method. I’m using the same technique with my Match.com account.

That’s not to say that 100% of the women are going to message back but a higher percentage will with the tactics I learned.

Anyway enough about that – this weekend I did alright for myself using a little tactic I picked up. Wednesday, I was invited by a friend at the gym bugging me to go to this Italian restaurant – that night was WINE NIGHT.

I don’t have to mention that women do love drinking wine – now mix that with Italian food and you got some serious disproportionate number of women to men!

So anyway I am sitting by the bar with my buddy and these 3 cute girls next to us are deep in conversation. I scanned them for another 5 minutes and they are talking and basically blocking off all men.

I tell my buddy screw this lets look for 2 single women having fun and not deep in conversation.

After some scanning we both find 2 cute women on the other end of the bar so we just walked up and started flirting. I’m talking to one with stunning green eyes and just having fun the whole time. My buddy takes off with the girl leaving me alone with her friend.

Sweet! Next thing you know I macking on this girl and I wind up with her number. She had work the next day so she and her girlfriend go home and we made plans for Saturday.

Saturday comes and we catch some drinks by a lounge not far from where I live and from there it was on. I mean the music was great we are talking the conversation is going well and I invite her back to my place to show her the artwork I have in the house. We talk some more and well lets just say I made her eggs and coffee Sunday morning.

It wasn’t that difficult I just wanted to have fun and was laid back throughout the night. The best thing about is that you can do the same it just takes practice.

Oh BTW I’m currently chatting with a beautiful women I met online via Match.com and I must say she is HOT!

There is one thing to be said about online dating is that is will open doors for new opportunities to meet women. You will be able to meet all kinds of women from all different backgrounds.
