I had to put up this post after looking at what my coworker did on his MySapce account.

Yes I was at work screwing around with my buddy on MySpace – so there!

However I wasn’t ready for his move on MySpace that made my cringe in total horror. What was his mistake? He left a comment on some chick’s profile he liked BUT hasn’t yet dated. I totally wanted to knock him upside the head and say what the hell are you doing?

A lot of guys do this but I made him promise from that day forward he’ll never ever do it again. Why – simply because it destroyed his chances with that girl. The reason is simple leaving her a comment you’re basically projecting yourself as a beta male and completely hand her the victory. All the mystery is gone at that point.

She won you over with no effort, you didn’t even put up a challenge. Instead you come off looking like a needy loser in her mind.

Wow, it’s good to be back here with you guys – all last week I was battling the cold and the rains here is Sothern California. I hope you guys have been getting out there and meeting women. But most importantly make sure you’re having fun.

Okay for today I want to talk about the types of photos to include in your profile.

1. Out in social settings -  communicates that you are social and like to have fun.
2. With other women -  so you don’t look like a total complete loser.
3. Photos with kids – recommended for guys in the 31 – 38 year old rage it communicates that you are looking to settle down and are serious.
4. On vacation – communicates you are cultured with a worldly view.
5. Activities – includes sailing, skiing, climbing, snowboarding etc.. These types of activities communicate you have a life outside from work and partying.

If you don’t already have some sort of hobby I advise to look for something to do and occupy your time. It’s also a great way to meet women with similar tastes.

Me personally I started taking guitar lessons and I love it! I’ve always loved music and it’s fun.

I would avoid just having one photo – too bland too boring.

For you guys in the 29 – 39 year old range I recommend a photo of you in a casual sports jacket and button down shirt. (Of course do this if it fits your own personal style, if not then don’t worry about it).

Any idea what is the worst photo to have in your profile?

Drum roll please…..

The one with your shirt off in the mirror. I kid you not I have read profiles of women saying “please don’t email them if you have this photo”.

Please don’t do this don’t make yourself look like a tool. If you are guilty of this then DELETE that photo.

Well there it is use these tips and make your dating profile tell a story. The best way is through the use of photos.

Here is an interesting question I want to pose to you: when do you think it’s the best time to impress any women? Is it in the beginning when you first meet her or work up to that goal?

You may be surprised with my answer (my opinion). I think it’s never a good time to impress any women. Think about it for a second, if you feel the need to impress a girl (or anyone for that matter) you are coming off from a needy state of mind.

Any guy that has “figured it out” can approach any woman ant any time and simply talk to her. He doesn’t think out rejection. He doesn’t worry about his weight, his car, how much money he has or how tall he is.

Never try to impress women by bragging or showing off – it’s nothing outwardly that will impress but what’s inside that will impress her.

Sorry if I sound cliché here but think about for a second; what will really impress her are your communication skills and attitude.

Alternatively if you have nothing but excuses holding you back this to can be damaging to your dating life. The only answer is by letting go of all the painful past experiences, worrying of what she might say, personal issues will you be able to become that “alpha male”.

Alpha males don’t need a woman to make them happy they want them in their lives. See there is a difference between needing and wanting; if you need something you are filling a void. You want something to add to your life or experiences.

I’m flat out against needing anything to make you happy for one reason. No matter how hard you try to fill that void with whatever – that void never gets filled.
