Sup Fellas!! I wanted to write a post on Happy Hour and what it could mean for your social and dating life. According to a 2010 survey the top 5 cities for singles are:

1. New Orleans
2. Miami
3. Austin
4. New York
5. Las Vegas

In each one of these cities is 5:00pm somewhere and usually that means Happy Hour is alive and well with a ton of single men and women looking to unwind from a long day at work and enjoy the evening.

This is your opportunity to go out and meet women! All you need is one wing man, buddy, compadre, to hang with and make it fun (hell you can go by yourself). Best thing is you don’t have to spend a ton of money since drinks and food are usually discounted.

Yesterday I was talking about practicing your pick up game. Happy Hour is the perfect outlet and you can meet some quality women in these social settings.

Get out of your head, “you can’t meet a quality woman in a bar”. That is bullshit and makes no sense. Quality women can be found anywhere but are you willing to go the mile and seek them out?

Anyway that is some food for thought for today.

Hey guys, I’m sure by now you have heard of ‘cocky funny’ and how it’s the end all to be all on attracting women.

I’m here to say it’s a bunch of CRAP! Why? No one likes to be put down and on top of that who likes cocky people? Okay fine you are messing around but you are still being a cocky asshole / meathead. That can easily translate to arrogance or abrasiveness and for the most part confident women will see this a mile away and be turned off.

The key to attracting women is light humor and teasing. I tease all the damn time and they eat it up. You don’t have to be a Dave Chappell to attract women just simple light hearted humor is all you need. I’m no fan of goofy humor that paints you like a clown so I advise to stay clear from that.

Well there you have it the low down on cocky funny and my opinion why it’s a waste of time.

I want to talk about killing your anxiety when approaching women with this training tip I want to share. It works because I did this same tactic to get over my fears and to be honest I still do it just to stay razor sharp.

Most of the dating and getting laid courses never talk about this. Helping you get over the hump when approaching women and destroying that mental block. All they do is give you some openers to approach women without doing one thing first.

That one thing is practice! You have to practice with women in order to get good.

For the most part your brain is preventing you from acting out of fear because you are outside your comfort level.

Let be honest you may not have too much experience with women. When you see women you are attracted to – you freeze up. You are uncomfortable approaching her and you constantly avoid those situations. It’s like a broken record it just happens over and over again.

Be honest how man times have you said – “Man I wish I would have asked her out” or “Man I wish I could have the balls to say something”

So how do you get over this hump? PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

How do you practice? By actually approaching women you are not attracted to! That’s right approach women you are not attracted to and make a quick conversation / comment and exit.

You need to train yourself not to be nervous in these situations. You accomplish this by training yourself with women in the 4 – 5 on the beauty scale to get over the hump of approaching. If you ever want to meet hot men or those 9’s and 10’s you first need to have approached those 4’s or 5’s.

Okay so where do you meet 4’s and 5’s to practice?

• Supermarkets
• Coffee shops
• Shopping mall
• Anywhere you see a ‘plain jane’ just fucking say something!!

It doesn’t have to be too complicated. If you are at the market and she’s holding a bottle of wine say “You are really going to enjoy that wine” wait for a quick response from her and go. That’s it. I still do this exercise just so I can stay sharp and never have that fear creep up on me. It’s more out of habit now but it works and I want you to use it.

Alright guys I gave you some training wheels – now you need to use them it’s all up to you.

With the summer right around the corner there are going to be more and more people out and about and you need to take advantage.

1) Coffee Houses – I have to say whenever I come across a coffee house in downtown I always see good looking women sipping lattes and having fun. I honestly feel that coffee shops are an untapped market when it comes to meeting women. Most guys simply do not take advantage of what I found to be a terrific place to easily meet women. Just sit down with a cup of coffee and start a conversation with a woman nearby.

2) House Parties – I love house parties because they are fun and are meant for people to socialize. Just show up with a 12 pack and schmooze. These places are actually easier to meet women than you think. You already know someone there so you can use that to your advantage.

3) Social Circle – Your friends are an untapped market to meet women. You can also go the route of being the party planner and event organizer but keep it simple and use your social circle to meet more women.

4) Happy Hour – My all time favorite tactic to meet women. Why – because it’s way more relaxed than the nighttime bar scene or club and there’s still plenty of women to talk to. I live in an area with a weekly magazine that has list of things to do in the area. I’m sure your city has exactly the same – use it! I’m telling you it’s a goldmine.

Well, first off I hope you all had a great Christmas. This year I actually kept it mellow hung out at a friends’ house with his wife’s family. Hey there’s nothing wrong with taking a break from women and just appreciate life for what it is.

Anyway I want to share with you some tips on meeting women at a party or bar. This year (for the 1st time in 6 years) I’ll be in the U.S. celebrating New Year’s in California, so my plan will be in L.A. for the night.

Alright here we go….By now I hope you have made plans to party at a bar, club or house party. Just make sure if it’s a house party there will be women there if not bail and head to a bar.

Whatever you do don’t be that drunk asshole who loses control unable to speak a whole sentence. There is nothing worse for a woman than being approached by some drunk ass. Stay in control at all times and don’t embarrass yourself!

Be social! Talk to as many different women as possible moving from one group to the next. Spend some time doing this and whatever you do ‘be the fun guy’.

Next you will want to close in on the woman that caught your eye and start creating some real attraction here. Refer to my previous posts to pick up on ‘conversation topics’ you can easily use.

Here is an opener you can use: “Hey, I saw you from over there and I had to come over and say Hi, you have have great fashion style about you. My name is_______.” You can change up the opener to make it your own (be original).

There you go…an easy ice breaker that’s not hard, clever or cute. No need for a clever one-liner or some canned opener. 

Above all stay relaxed and don’t act nervous or fidget. I hope you all have a great New Year’s and stay safe!

This is what I consider to be the last piece to the puzzle. As a man you have gone through a lot of trouble attracting her and now you want to keep her in your realm.

When it comes right down to it she will only stick around if you can still give her butterflies the same way you did when you first met.

What is the secret sauce I’m talking about? Being adventurous and little uncontrollable. Trick is not to be a raving lunatic, still show your wild side but also be understanding and gentle. To make sure the fire never fades keep being adventurous and surprise her. She will eat it all up.

Wow I just finished practicing on my guitar reviewing my chords (F chord is killing me) and playing whole, half and quarter notes. The whole notes are simple while quarter notes are progressively harder.

It dawned on me of what to tell you guys when you get frustrated trying to picking up women.

Look I just picked up the guitar 3 weeks ago and the little I’ve done I’ve been able to play the C, Am and G chords with ease. Although F is still hard I have no intention to give up – I WANT TO PLAY GUITAR WELL.

The key is not to get frustrated and give up – only losers give up with out a fight. Let me tell you something, I’m no loser!

Women are very much like guitars – very difficult at first but the more you practice the better you will become. In fact the more you practice your confidence soars and the more comfortable you become.

I did a couple of things to advance my success: I got guitar lessons from a professional and dove into it (I love music). After all how do you think Eric Clampton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Randy Rhoads and all the greats became awesome guitar players? Practice, Practice and more Practice.
