Sup Fellas!! I wanted to write a post on Happy Hour and what it could mean for your social and dating life. According to a 2010 survey the top 5 cities for singles are:

1. New Orleans
2. Miami
3. Austin
4. New York
5. Las Vegas

In each one of these cities is 5:00pm somewhere and usually that means Happy Hour is alive and well with a ton of single men and women looking to unwind from a long day at work and enjoy the evening.

This is your opportunity to go out and meet women! All you need is one wing man, buddy, compadre, to hang with and make it fun (hell you can go by yourself). Best thing is you don’t have to spend a ton of money since drinks and food are usually discounted.

Yesterday I was talking about practicing your pick up game. Happy Hour is the perfect outlet and you can meet some quality women in these social settings.

Get out of your head, “you can’t meet a quality woman in a bar”. That is bullshit and makes no sense. Quality women can be found anywhere but are you willing to go the mile and seek them out?

Anyway that is some food for thought for today.

1) Coffee Houses – I have to say whenever I come across a coffee house in downtown I always see good looking women sipping lattes and having fun. 2) House Parties – I love house parties because they are fun and are meant for people to socialize. Just show up with a 12 pack and schmooze. These places are actually easier to meet women than you think. You already know someone there so you can use that to your advantage.

3) Social Circle – Your friends are an untapped market to meet women. You can also go the route of being the party planner and event organizer but keep it simple and use your social circle to meet more women.

4) Happy Hour – My all time favorite tactic to meet women. Why – because it’s way more relaxed than the nighttime bar scene or club and there’s still plenty of women to talk to. I live in an area with a weekly magazine that has list of things to do in the area. I’m sure your city has exactly the same – use it! I’m telling you it’s a goldmine.

Well, first off I hope you all had a great Christmas. This year I actually kept it mellow hung out at a friends’ house with his wife’s family. Hey there’s nothing wrong with taking a break from women and just appreciate life for what it is.

Anyway I want to share with you some tips on meeting women at a party or bar. This year (for the 1st time in 6 years) I’ll be in the U.S. celebrating New Year’s in California, so my plan will be in L.A. for the night.

Alright here we go….By now I hope you have made plans to party at a bar, club or house party. Just make sure if it’s a house party there will be women there if not bail and head to a bar.

Whatever you do don’t be that drunk asshole who loses control unable to speak a whole sentence. There is nothing worse for a woman than being approached by some drunk ass. Stay in control at all times and don’t embarrass yourself!

Be social! Talk to as many different women as possible moving from one group to the next. Spend some time doing this and whatever you do ‘be the fun guy’.

Next you will want to close in on the woman that caught your eye and start creating some real attraction here. Refer to my previous posts to pick up on ‘conversation topics’ you can easily use.

Here is an opener you can use: “Hey, I saw you from over there and I had to come over and say Hi, you have have great fashion style about you. My name is_______.” You can change up the opener to make it your own (be original).

There you go…an easy ice breaker that’s not hard, clever or cute. No need for a clever one-liner or some canned opener.

Introduce yourself very quickly using a “false time constraint” saying you only have a couple of minutes and say you would like to meet her for coffee some time that week.

I like using that one during the day when I’m not out not partying at night.

There is no need to come up with something clever or witty in fact she will be surprised and elated that a man had the nuts to walk up to her.

This is what I consider to be the last piece to the puzzle. As a man you have gone through a lot of trouble attracting her and now you want to keep her in your realm.

When it comes right down to it she will only stick around if you can still give her butterflies the same way you did when you first met.

What is the secret sauce I’m talking about? Being adventurous and little uncontrollable. Trick is not to be a raving lunatic, still show your wild side but also be understanding and gentle. To make sure the fire never fades keep being adventurous and surprise her. She will eat it all up.

The same rule applies to married men as well. My buddy is planning a weekend surprise getaway for his women at a resort. Trust me when I say that will surprise the shit out of her and she’ll be on cloud nine for 3 days.

Unless you’ve been a total dweeb and living under a rock you have heard of the term “coming on to hard” with women. So what does it mean? Basically showing too much interest in a chick you are hitting on.

So there you are talking with a bona fide “10” and you are laying it on real thick complimenting her looks, making sexual innuendos, going for the kiss but she stops you dead in your tracks and runs away.

If you are coming on too hard she will assume you are looking to only get laid – girls don’t want to appear like a slut and will turn away.

Trick is to keep it slow and tease her along the way. In no way do I recommend screwing with her head and leading her on – DON’T DO IT!

You don’t want to come on too strong all it does is make you appear immature and you will not score with her. Trust me I made this mistake too many times.

All men have been rejected from women in the dating scene (at least the ones that try); question is how to stamp out rejection from your mind so it doesn’t affect your overall game.

Tip #1: Dating and hooking up is a numbers game, that’s it. You will need to get through several “No’s” before a “YES”. It’s not like I’m able to get every women I talk with to sleep with me. It just doesn’t happen that way.

Tip #2: Don’t take her rejection personal. She rejected you because she is too stupid to realize you are a great guy. You are better off turning to the girl right next to her and starting a conversation. By the way I do just that – when a girl rejects me I will deliberately turn to the girl next to her and chat her up.

Tip #3: Don’t dwell on that rejection, deflect that negative energy and focus on the other women there are looking for a man just like you! I mean it – you are 10x better than the other douchebags in that bar / club.

Here are my 3 tips in destroying rejection. Over time you will soon develop unstoppable confidence and women will see this aura coming from you.

Ever wonder how guys that are naturals with women are bale to keep them wrapped around the finger with ease? They have a knack for being funny, able to tease and be serious all at the same time. They can change their state from one to the other and still be true to their real personality.

They able to switch it up and don’t feel the need to be serious all the time or funny all the time. Women love it when men send mixed signals and are “different”.

Truth is that men who are always serious are boring. Alternately men that are always funny 100% of the time may be looked at as clowns. Change it up and keep her guessing!

It’s just that easy – when she thinks she has you figured out surprise her with something new. I’m not saying to act like a manic – on the contrary be true to your personality. Nothing is lamer than being  a total fake.

What makes this so important is that without warning you can bring her to an emotional high. Women love this type of man and crave the emotions he can stir up.
