Alright here is a post to keep in mind for this weekend. I want you to take a good hard look into your closet and evaluate your wardrobe. I hope by now you are taking the necessary steps to get out there and using the tips from this blog to improve your game and self confidence.

What are you currently wearing on your dates? Are you a 30 something trying to still hold on to your twenties by wearing Abercrombie & Finch? How about your footwear – do you wear sneakers?

What I’m trying to get across are two things:

1. Dress your age and be mature
2. Don’t be afraid to change it up

There come a time when you must get rid of your old t-shirts and jeans and replace them with an updated look and start looking like a high-value male. You can’t accomplish that if you look like a bum who can care less how he looks.

How many times have you been to a club or bar and the guy standing next to you is wearing his best shirt – a Dickies workwear shirt?  Don’t get me wrong I don’t have a problem with Dickies but if you aren’t a mechanic leave them alone.

Women spend an awful lot of time dressing up when they go out – wherever they go out. In turn those women want to see a man that will make at least some effort in their appearance. Looking like a slob will get you nowhere.

This past Sunday I was at the fair picking up some discounted toiletries and I spotted some guy in his 40′s dressed up as if he was in his 20′s. He looked like the biggest tool – I had to look twice and shake my head. Dress your age dude you aren’t fooling anyone!

While we are on the subject keep up your personal hygiene. Bath everyday, wear deodorant, brush your teeth and keep gum in your car just in case you breath is not exactly fresh & minty.

Do you still have the same haircut from when you were 15? Do yourself a favor and change it up. Go to a stylist and get their opinion.

I know all this sounds a little daunting and scary – that’s because we are all comfortable and we view change as a threat. However change is good and shouldn’t be feared.

Lastly get a couple pair of good shoes. As you may already know women love shoes and you will score points if you own a pair of sharp looking black and brown shoes. It can’t be explained so just accept it – women actually do like men that have a great pair of shoes.

By no means do I suggest you spend loads of money in fact I myself shop at Banana Republic and Express and head for the “sale” section every time. I hope picked up some good tips here and don’t be afraid to update your look.
