We live in an age where texting and talking on the phone pretty much go hand in hand. Every cell phone is text ready and it very easy to send a text to let someone know where you are or when you are coming.

However it’s a different ball game when you first meet women. You spent a lot of time to meet this girl and attract her to your personality. Now comes time for you to call her to set up a 2nd meeting (date) but you text her instead.

Why would you text her? It is such a lame move I mean show her you aren’t afraid to talk to her and call her!

In my opinion texting is a beta male type of move and you really are killing your chances for a 2nd date when you do this. She was interested in you enough to give you her digits and yet you text something stupid. 

Now she thinks you are a douchebag for not calling. C’mon dude you are not some 16 year high school kid – you are a man.

Be a man and call her up! Women nowadays are looking for “real men” not these uber metrosexual guys that get their nails done.

How about the 3 day rule?

To be very honest I don’t believe in the 3 day rule – that doesn’t mean you should call her an hour later after you first meet. You never want to appear needy or some stalker. I typically call 24 – 48 hours later and actually bring up something from the date that was fun.

I personally want her to relive the good time she had with me so it’s fresh in her mind.

The ‘3 day rule’ is really a personal thing – if you feel more comfortable them by all means BUT don’t text her. Your cell phone is a device meant for you to push buttons and actually speak to another person.
