I can remember not that long ago I was in a bar with a friend of mine and we were scoping out the scene have a good time and my buddy excuses himself to the restroom. No big deal right? Well while he’s away I spot these really 2 cute chicks by a table and I’m thinking “damn the one in the blue top is my type”.

But at that moment I say to myself I’ll wait for my bro to come back then I’ll make the move. Of course it doesn’t work that way and to my anger I see two other guys swopped right in. What a total missed opportunity!

All because I placed my condition for success on my wingman who had to take a piss.

Was it his fault? Not at all – it was mine for placing way too much emphasis on a wingman which it fact it was all up to me.

Sure a wingman will take the edge off and run interference for you but at the end of the day don’t allow your success to depend entirely on him. Remember that your wingman is there to provide support, you still have to make the move.

As an alpha male you want to be independent and self reliant free from conditions to your success. However this isn’t to say that I’m against having a wingman – after all they do serve a purpose and come in handy.

On a personal level the best kind of wingman is a wingwoman. Yep you heard right I have partied with wingwomen before and they were able to infiltrate social circles a guy normally can’t. Women are more than happy to help you hook up and you look like a guy who’s in demand. Bottom line is that women notice men that are with other women.

So here’s the deal – next time you’re out and you see a cute girl you want to approach do it! Wingman or no wingman it doesn’t matter – you write your own play book.
