Okay guys I need to write something here that I see more and more guys are doing when writing emails to women on Match.com or Plenty of Fish. I know and realize there are some online dating courses that talk about “challenging women” with a back handed compliment or something really stupid along those lines.

Guess what guys? Those tactics suck and don’t work. I had a coffee date with this cutie on Sunday (met her on plenty of fish) and she if I had any bad experiences. I turned my story into a funny one and when I was finished I asked about hers.

She mentioned how she was receiving emails from guys with some back handed compliments. I immediately thought to myself of a few of the online dating courses out there that proclaim you must challenge all women on any dating site.

Okay lets back up here a second and break this down. I asked my coffee date what she thought of the email? What was her response – “that was so lame”.

 Look, I myself have given positive reviews to a couple of these online dating but come on! Back handed compliments don’t work trust me I know – I did the same crap and I received ZERO responses.

All you do is sort of insult them and your email get deleted. WTF?! No bueno buddy you need to change up your game.

The best email I use with online dating websites will contain something along the lines of: “…you seem different and genuine…” That’s it!

Sure I will include some more stuff but I keep it short and send them off. Most of your responses will depend on what your profile says and your photos. I will follow up with some tips and tricks for a great profile this week so stay tuned!
